Carassius Auratus - These goldfish have a black ovoid body shape and straight sloping face with bobbly eyes, their dorsal fins are high and they have four tail fins in a triangular shape.

Originally hailing from China and Japan, they are now a common sight in freshwater aquariums, popular due to their hardy temperament and beautiful colours.
