    Bright yellow lips, black eyes and yellow eyelids. The front of the fish has darker sections sometimes showing flecks of green.

    Xiphophorus - These fish have a distinctive triangular shaped head and a squatter body than mollies with a shorter squatter tail than swordtails.

    Native to the waters of Central America, these fish have been in the aquarium trade for over 100 years! They are peaceful, easy to care for and have a wide variety of colours and patterns. Platies are live bearers, giving birth to live independent young roughly 28 days after spawning.

    Maximum size: 5-7cm

    Lifespan: 2-3 years

    Temperature: 21-24 degrees celsius

    Tank requirements: Filter & Oxygen, Heater

    Tank Mates: Other freshwater, coldwater fish of a similar size.

    Feeding: Good Quality Flake or Pellets
