Tanichthys albonubes - These tetra like fish are actually part of the carp family but remain small and thirve in captivity.

Originally found in White Cloud Mountain Lake in China, their natural habitat has now been eroded by tourism and trade. Best kept in shoals, these fish are incredibly easy to care for and ideal for beginners or nano aquariums. Due to their hardy nature they can also thrive in unheated aquariums.
