    Poecilia ReticulataOne of the most colourful freshwater fish you can add to your aquarium. Guppies are small fish with large fan like tails and flowing fins that come in a huge variety of colours and patterns.

    Mainly found in Guyana and Brazil, they are very widespread across the globe with some endemic to Barbados. Very peaceful community fish but due to their slow swimming and long flowing fins, they should only be kept with equally peaceful fish. These are one of the easiest breed to care for and breed, giving birth to live young around 8 weeks after breeding.

    Temperature: 22-28 degrees celsius

    Tank requirements: Filter & Oxygen, Heater

    Tank Mates: Other freshwater fish that are peaceful. NOT Gouramis or Bettas
