Melanotaenia Praecox - These fish have an elongated body and when coloured, display a beautiful neon blue with red fins.

Native to Ayamaru Lakes in Indonesia these fish are easy to care for and peaceful. Their full colour is displayed at different times throughout the day in 'flashes' but even when not displaying their full colour they still have a hint of it. These fish shoal naturally and often display their brightest colours when kept in a good sized group of 5+

Tank Mates: Other freshwater tropical fish of a similar temperament.
