Pterygoplichthys Joselimaianus - These plecos are also commonly known as sucker fish. Mottled Brown and Orange in colour, they also have darker brown spots and stripes in a pattern unique to every fish.

 

 

Originating in South America, these plecos have armour plating on the top of their bodies and so are suitable tank mates for both peaceful and aggressive fish. Plecos help to keep the tank clean by eating algae and detritus from the bottom of the tank, they are generally nocturnal.

 

These plecos can grow to a large size up to 28cm and will require a large tank as adults.
