    Trichogaster Chuna - This gourami is a lovely red colour with wide fins which may be edged in a deeper red.

    Native to India and Bangladesh, they are a labyrinth fish meaning they surface to breathe and will spend a lot of time at the top of your aquarium. They prefer to live in a small shoal and with other less boisterous fish as they are slow swimmers. They do not get along with guppies or betta.

    Lifespan: 5-8 years

    Temperature: 22-28 degrees celsius

    Tank requirements: Filter & Oxygen, Heater

    Tank Mates: Other quiet freshwater tropical fish

    Feeding: Good Quality Flake or Pellet.
