Gasteropelecus Sternicla - These fish have a thin but deep silvery body with pectoral fins at the very top of their distinctive shaped body.

Originating from Brazil, Peru and Venezuela, these fish tend to hang out at the surface and have a reputation for jumping. They prefer to live in a shoal and enjoy surface vegetation and a slow water flow.
